There’s only a week left in the month of Movember. Has your moustache turned out to be everything you thought it would be? Has it made you feel more manly? Did it help you land your dream job or get the attention of the hot girl at work? Probably not. In fact, we’d bet our clippers that the progress of your Mo is inversely proportionate to you getting laid or getting a raise. The truth is, most guys do not want to grow a moustache and yet, they do it.
JD’s Barbershop, along with House Guest, Charlie & Lee and AKAjoncampbell wants to salute your commitment to the cause. So before you shave it off, show it off. We’re hosting a party on Thursday November 24th at House Guest in Gastown. There will be prizes for best moustache (girls and guys), moustache art for sale and partial proceeds from the night are going to Movember and the Shaun G Foundation. See you there!

Guts and Glory Collective artists Jarrad Burley and Nick Coyle are the latest artists to be featured on the walls of JD’s Barbershop.
“Guts and Glory is a creative collective based out of Vancouver, BC. We focus on the underground and sub-cultures that thrive in Canada’s youth and artist communities. We look to draw this community closer across the country by blending the forces of art, music, design and culture. We are a small group of talented young artists that look to spread our work and ideas through the means of our apparel, design services, art and music. We look to expand and recruit talent across the country as we progress.”
Opening night, Friday October 14
